Wedding venues for 2019

Wednesday, February 6, 2019 - 17:15

Wedding bells are ringing and our venues are enjoying showing their spaces to newly engaged couples planning future weddings. Finding the perfect venue doesn’t have to be difficult. We’ve rounded up a selection of spaces to give you a little bit of inspiration..

10-11 Carlton House Terrace

Upon entering 10-11 Carlton House Terrace, you are immediately struck by the stunning interiors and classic period detail that gives these Central London Townhouses their unique charm. With breathtaking views across St James’s Park, The Mall and many iconic London landmarks, the venue provides a picture-perfect setting for a quintessentially London Wedding. Host an intimate civil ceremony for 16 guests in the Cornwall Room, or a grand wedding reception for 100 guests in the Wolfson Room. Our flexible spaces offer a unique opportunity to take-over one or both of our Georgian Townhouses for this special occasion.

ArcelorMittal Orbit

Say ‘I Do’ in the truly unique surroundings of the ArcelorMittal Orbit, licensed for civil wedding ceremonies and civil partnerships, providing the ideal space for both your ceremony and reception. Say your vows at 250ft at the lower viewing platform, before moving to the upper viewing platform at 262 feet to experience a spectacular wedding breakfast, all set against the stunning panorama of London’s stunning skyline! For a more unusual start to married life, adrenaline seeking couples can also hire The Slide, the world’s longest and tallest tunnel slide. Thrill your guests with a 40 second descent through 12 twists and turns at speeds of up to 15mph.

Lincoln's Inn

The eminent Great Hall at Lincoln’s Inn is now open for wedding receptions thanks to the completion of significant renovation works over the past 36 months. The installation of contemporary refinement, together with the restoration of its authentic grandeur, makes the Great Hall the perfect setting for memorable weddings. Its spectacular artistry, high ceilings and stunning stained-glass windows evoke a magical ambiance for dinners of up to 250 guests. Taking bookings from Spring 2019, the adjoining Bench Rooms can be hired in conjunction with the hall for arrival receptions.

Natural History Museum

The Museum's spaces offer a sublime backdrop for a romantic wedding or memorable private party at any time of year. Hintze Hall is our largest venue. With its iconic Victorian architecture and soaring arches, it provides the perfect setting to dance the evening away. For additional outdoor space, you can combine the Hintze Hall with the tranquil and contemporary Darwin Centre courtyard - ideal for a summer wedding or drinks reception. Alternatively, you and your guests can dine in the celestial Earth Hall, raising a toast next to the resident Stegosaurus fossil, before ascending through the mixed-metal Earth sculpture into one of our fascinating galleries. For a limited period in 2019, we will be welcoming Luke Jerram's Museum of the Moon in the Jerwood Gallery for a unique wedding experience.
